Bought some new bits and pieces for the Pro 4 earlier this week:
Steel Dogbones
Although not as light as the aluminium ones, nor as strong as the titanium ones these dogbones will work as a medium between the two. I intend to use the hardened steel ones for club racing, and save the lighter TIR titanium CVD’s for bigger events. These are normally £30 a pack, so the two i got for a tenner off of eBay (yet again) were a steal.
Knuckles
Two packs of carbon graphite knuckles. Nothing special here, i just tend to break them allot.:)
A Load Of Balls
Thought the diff could do with being stripped and rebuilt, so i purchased some thrust balls and diff balls by Edit and a couple of sets of HPI diff rings. These balls are harder than the standard kit set and are coated with a super slippery coating for reduced rolling resistance.
The combination of hardness and coating provides unrivalled longevity of a smooth diff action under the most extreme loading conditions.
